Take note that the payoff is always for a total of nine units.
This is certainly a very fair return for an initial investment of only three units! The units that are being mentioned here always refer to the individual chips. The value of the chip is not important. For instance, if you are playing for $1 chips, your initial investment would be $3. Assuming a point of six, this can be increased to five units, or $5. If, however, you are playing for $5 chips, the initial investment would be $15, but the odds bet could be for as much as $25. Of course, as you increase the value of the unit to $25 chips, your initial investment of $75 could escalate to an astounding $125 bet on the odds! That represents quite a spread in dollar value, even though it still only represents three units initially.
Opportunity to Make Money
While this method of playing allows the player to take full advantage of every opportunity to make money, the casino also stands to make great gains. After all, instead of just the simple two-unit bet that they could win, they permit you to wager up to as much as eight units, and you could lose. Never forget that. You could lose! One final remark about this method of
betting-never start betting in this manner unless you are prepared to take full advantage of the odds option available. You will only be wasting money and perhaps time if however, you do take advantage of the options available, and you do bet on odds correctly, you stand an excellent chance of winning large sums in relation to your original bets.
Increasing a bet from the original three units on the pass line to as much as eight units with an offs bet tends to cut lower than 0.84 percent and even as low as 0.60 percent when the double odds option is available.
Playing on a Small Scale
Study the above “rules “and try this method of playing on a small scale. Of course, it is made up of all winnings, but it is still yours. Try to avoid the proposition bets and the headway bets. They are all sucker bets. If you could really make money with them the casino would not make them available.
